Assam shows restraint in Rongali Bihu celebrations
Assam’s biggest festival Rongali Bihu also known as Bohag Bihu - is
being celebrated with restraints this time.
The people across the state on Monday observed the first day of the week-long Rongali Bihu festival known as Goru Bihu - in accordance with tradition by maintaining social distancing norms. Goru Bihu is dedicated to the livestock.
